Our staff has run this slide extensively. It functions reliably with standard 115gr and 124gr FMJ range ammunition. We did experience one failure to feed with a specific brand of 147gr subsonic flat-nose rounds during testing. For best results, stick with common ball or JHP profiles.
Does this come with internal parts?
No. This is a stripped slide assembly. You will need to source a complete upper parts kit (firing pin, extractor, springs, etc.) and a barrel to complete your build. It comes with the channel liner pre-installed for convenience.
Is this compatible with an 80% frame?
This slide is designed for the Gen 3 Glock® pattern. It will function on any properly completed frame that accepts that pattern, including 80% builds that have been milled and assembled to correct specifications. Ensure your frame’s rails and locking block are within spec for reliable operation.
