Your Questions Answered
Is the scope mounted with rings or a rail?
It uses Ruger’s proprietary integrated scope mounting system. The receiver is machined to accept Ruger scope rings, which are included. This provides a very low-profile, solid mount. The added weight of this system is minimal—our scale shows 0.7 oz.
Is the rifle ready to shoot out of the box?
It is factory bore-sighted, meaning the scope is roughly aligned with the barrel. You must take it to a safe range to confirm and finalize your zero with your chosen ammunition. Always perform a function check and inspect the firearm before first use.
