Is the finish durable?
The gold PVD coating is a hard, wear-resistant finish that is more durable than simple plating or cerakote. It provides good corrosion resistance, but like any finish, it can show holster wear over time with extensive use.
Do you recommend changing the recoil spring?
For most standard-pressure 9mm ammunition, the factory recoil spring assembly is sufficient. If you plan to shoot a high volume of +P or +P+ ammunition, consider upgrading to a slightly heavier spring for optimal longevity.
