This is designed as a drop-in barrel for standard Glock 19 slides. In our experience, it installs without modification. The tighter tolerances provide a solid fit, but it should not require gunsmithing for installation in an in-spec slide.
Does the Morse Code pattern affect cleaning or durability?
No. The pattern is a surface texture, not deep grooves. It does not trap carbon or fouling more than a standard fluted barrel and is protected by the nitride finish. Cleaning is straightforward.
Will this barrel work with aftermarket slides and compensators?
It is compatible with most aftermarket slides designed for OEM Glock 19 barrels. For use with a compensator, you would need a threaded version of the barrel. This model is non-threaded.
