No. This slide ships fully assembled with all internal parts. It should drop onto a compatible Gen3 frame and function with a standard recoil spring assembly. As with any aftermarket part, we recommend a function check and range verification.
What’s your recommendation for initial use?
Our staff’s note: “We recommend breaking in with 50 rounds of factory ammunition before relying on it for carry or duty use.” This ensures reliable cycling and allows you to verify function with your specific frame and ammunition.
Does it come with sights or a recoil spring?
It includes the slide, barrel, and all internal components. It does not include iron sights or a recoil spring assembly (RSA). You will need to source compatible sights and a Gen3 RSA separately.
