Does this fit all Glock generations?
It is designed for Gen 3, 4, and 5 frames. Our staff notes a slightly tighter fit on Gen4 frames compared to Gen5. This is not a functional issue, just a noticeable difference in hand feel during installation. Function is unchanged.
What tools are needed for installation?
You will need a standard Glock tool or a small punch to depress the locking block pin for removal and installation of the factory safety. The selector itself installs directly once the factory part is removed. No permanent modification is required.
Is the color durable?
The purple finish is applied for durability, but like any control surface, it will experience wear from handling and holster use. It is not a permanent, wear-proof coating. The underlying material is finished to prevent corrosion.
