Does this affect reliability with different ammunition?
In our handling, it runs flawlessly with standard 115gr and 124gr FMJ range ammunition. We did experience a single failure to feed with one brand of 147gr subsonic ammo during testing. For defensive or heavy use, test your specific setup thoroughly.
Will it fit in my existing Glock holster?
No. The added chassis dimensions will prevent it from fitting standard holsters molded for a bare Glock frame. You will need a holster designed for the PIX system or a universal/open-bottom model.
Is the optic mount included?
No. This kit provides the optics-ready platform. You must purchase the specific optic mounting plate (sold separately by Recover Tactical) that corresponds to your red dot’s footprint (e.g., RMR, Doctor, etc.).
