What’s the difference between the XTEN and the XTEN ENDURE?
The ENDURE model adds the tungsten-infused polymer frame for added weight and recoil reduction, the enhanced aggressive grip texture, and the X-RAY3 Day/Night sights. The standard XTEN has a regular polymer frame and contrast sights. The upgrades on the ENDURE are worth it for serious use.
Is this good for concealed carry?
It’s a full-size 10mm with a 5-inch barrel. For most people, this is not a practical everyday concealed carry gun. It’s large and heavy. However, for open carry on a belt during hunting, hiking, or ranch work, it’s an excellent choice. In Kansas, this would be a woods carry or truck gun for many.
What red dots fit the P320-XTEN ENDURE?
The slide is cut for Sig Sauer’s Electro-Optics footprint. This directly fits optics like the SIG ROMEO2. For popular optics like the Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C/508T, or Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, you will need to purchase a separate adapter plate from Sig Sauer or a third-party manufacturer.
Is the 10mm too powerful for home defense?
This is a debated topic. The 10mm has significant penetration power. In a suburban home defense scenario, over-penetration through walls is a real concern with full-power loads.
