Your Questions Answered
Does this require an ATF Form 1 or tax stamp?
No. The chassis itself is not a firearm and does not constitute manufacturing an NFA item. However, attaching a stabilizing brace to a pistol may be subject to current ATF regulations. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding pistol braces and overall firearm configuration.
Will this fit my Glock 19 or other models?
No. This specific PIX Conversion Kit is designed only for the full-size Glock 17, 17L, and 17P frames. Recover Tactical makes separate models for the Glock 19 and other sizes. Using an incorrect model will not function properly.
How does it install?
You field-strip your Glock, then slide the chassis onto the frame from the rear. The chassis uses the factory trigger pin and locking block pin to secure itself in place. Reassemble the slide, and the installation is complete. No drilling, tapping, or permanent modification is needed.
