Is this a binary or burst trigger?
No. The FRT-15L3 is a forced reset trigger. It has a Safe position, a standard Semi-Automatic position, and an FRT position. In the FRT mode, the trigger shoe is mechanically forced forward by the bolt carrier, but the hammer will only fall again if the shooter releases and then pulls the trigger for each subsequent shot.
What tools are needed for installation?
You’ll need a standard set of AR-15 armorers tools: a hammer and punch set to remove your factory fire control group pins, and a screwdriver for the safety selector. The trigger itself is a complete drop-in unit that replaces the factory hammer, trigger, and disconnector.
Does this work with all AR-15 lowers?
It is designed for standard Mil-Spec AR-15 lower receivers. Compatibility with some non-standard or billet lowers, especially those with integrated trigger guards or unique geometries, cannot be guaranteed. We recommend checking your lower’s specifications.
