Will this barrel handle +P or +P+ ammunition?
The barrel is made from 4140 steel and is chambered to SAAMI specifications. It is rated for standard pressure 9mm Luger ammunition. Consistent use of +P ammunition may accelerate wear. We do not recommend the use of +P+ ammunition.
Does the gold finish wear off easily?
The PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish is notably more durable and corrosion-resistant than traditional electroplating. It bonds at a molecular level. Normal holster wear and use will occur over time, but it should not flake or peel under standard conditions.
