Is the finish durable?
The Radio Active finish is a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating applied to the stainless steel. It is highly resistant to wear, corrosion, and solvents, far more durable than standard cerakote or nitride finishes commonly found on aftermarket barrels.
Does this require a break-in period?
Like most precision-machined components, a short break-in period of 50-100 rounds is recommended. This allows the barrel and your slide to mate fully. You may notice slightly tighter operation initially, which is normal.
