This barrel is manufactured to be a drop-in component for standard Glock 19 slides. It should install without modification. As with any aftermarket part, we recommend checking headspace and function testing with snap caps before live fire.
Will this barrel handle +P or +P+ ammunition?
The barrel is constructed from 416 stainless steel and is suitable for standard pressure 9mm ammunition. While it may handle occasional +P use, we do not recommend sustained use of +P or +P+ loads, as they accelerate wear on any firearm component.
Does the gold finish wear off easily?
The gold finish is a physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating, which is significantly more durable than traditional plating or paint. It is highly resistant to holster wear, solvents, and corrosion. Some wear on contact points is normal with use but should be minimal.
