This is designed as a drop-in barrel. It should install directly into a standard Glock 19 Gen 3-5 slide and function with OEM or aftermarket recoil spring assemblies. We have not encountered fitting issues with in-spec frames.
Does the fluting affect reliability or cleaning?
No. The fluting is a weight-saving and cosmetic feature. The bore and chamber remain standard. The flutes may actually provide slightly more surface area for cooling during extended firing sessions.
