Yes. The barrel ships with exposed threads. A 1/2×28 thread protector is recommended to protect the threads when a muzzle device is not installed. Thread protectors are sold separately.
Will this work with my OEM Glock 17 slide?

Is this barrel rated for +P or +P+ ammunition?
