Is the PMR-30 reliable with .22 WMR?
Our experience has been positive. Our range officer tested this model against three other .22 WMR pistols available at the time, and the PMR-30 performed with the fewest stoppages. As with any rimfire firearm, consistent reliability depends on using quality, high-velocity ammunition and maintaining the magazines properly.
What is the felt recoil like?
Recoil is very mild. The .22 WMR cartridge generates more energy than standard .22 LR, but the pistol’s weight and hybrid blowback action make it manageable and enjoyable for most shooters, including those newer to handguns.
Are extra magazines available?
Yes, factory 30-round magazines for the PMR-30 are available and we typically stock them. We recommend having several for range trips, as loading the double-stack magazine to full capacity is easier with a loading tool or with practice.
